Protests broke out across several Venezuelan cities July 29 as people took to the streets to express their anger after authoritarian leader Nicolás Maduro was formally declared winner of the presidential election by the country’s government-controlled electoral authority. CNN's Stefano Pozzebon was on the ground in the capital Caracas, where security forces fired tear gas at protesters.
