South Korea prosecutors to appeal against ruling clearing opposition leader, Yonhap says

SEOUL (Reuters) - South Korean prosecutors said on Wednesday they planned to go to the Supreme Court to appeal against a ruling that cleared main opposition leader Lee Jae-myung of election law violation earlier in the day, Yonhap news agency reported.

The Supreme Prosecutors' Office did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
