WASHINGTON (Reuters) - U.S. House Republican Carol Miller in a Tuesday primary defeated a challenger who had pleaded guilty to a role in the Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol riot, Edison Research projected.

The seat is not considered competitive in the Nov. 5 general election, meaning Miller will likely remain in Congress next year.
