Florida authorities have arrested a sixteen-year-old boy suspected of killing his ex-girlfriend's mother, according to Miami-Dade Police.

Eulalia Gonzalez, 38, is alleged to have been shot in the head by the teenager when she was carrying her infant on the front step. Gonzalez was taken to Jackson South quickly, but she did not make it. Thankfully, the infant escaped unscathed.

According to police, the adolescent lost it when Gonzalez's daughter ended their relationship. They reportedly ended their relationship two months ago, having dated for roughly nine months.

He had been intimidating Gonzalez's daughter and harassing her, according to the arrest documents, saying things like "if she was not with him, she could not be with anyone else."

The adolescent approached Gonzalez with a gun, according to a neighbor. Gonzalez had a bullet wound to her head and was unconscious when the neighbor came back after obtaining assistance.

After searching the teen's home, police took him into custody. He purportedly acknowledged that he had traveled to and from the crime scene using Uber or a comparable service. According to reports, the teenager said authorities he planned to kill a relative of his ex-girlfriend as payback for their split.

The young suspect faces charges for both having a firearm while underage and murder. It's unclear if he has legal counsel or what he will say to the judge.

Four children, including a baby who was just a month old, were left behind by Gonzalez. To pay for burial charges and other costs, a fundraising has been organized. Gonzalez is characterized by friends as a happy mother who loved her kids.

This instance illustrates the terrible results of a failed relationship. The specifics of what happened that night are still being looked into by the police.
