Google to start manufacturing smartphones in India with Pixel 8

NEW DELHI (Reuters) - Alphabet Inc intends to start manufacturing in India and will partner with international and domestic manufacturers to produce Pixel smartphones locally, starting with Pixel 8, an executive said on Thursday.

The devices are expected to be rolled out in 2024, the executive said at the ninth edition of the Google for India event.
