(Reuters) - Prudential Financial said on Tuesday it had appointed company insider Yanela Frias as executive vice president and chief financial officer (CFO), effective March 15.
Frias will succeed Ken Tanji, who will leave Prudential in September after 35 years. Tanji had steered the company through the financial challenges of the COVID pandemic.
Frias has been with Prudential for nearly three decades, with her latest stint as the president of its group insurance segment.
She has also served as the president of Prudential Retirement and led the Investment And Pensions Solutions business, the company said.
