In the intricate design offices of Tesla, there was a hidden controversy among the company's engineers regarding Elon Musk's Cybertruck. Elon Musk's big transformation was not well received by a considerable number of engineers, as Tesla's design chief, Franz von Holzhausen, disclosed.T

he Cybertruck, recognized for its angular edges and durable, stainless steel construction, was initially met with criticism by those within Tesla. Franz von Holzhausen mentioned, “A lot of people in the workspace were disgusted by it," highlighting the team's strong doubts. Many believed the design was too unusual and tried to distance themselves from it.

After this big reveal in November 2019, the prototype took its maiden voyage with Musk and the renowned musician Grimes at the wheel; the trip ended with a dinner at Nobu, as described in Isaacson's book. Isaacson previously revealed in an interview with CNBC that Musk's disappointment with the sameness of regular vehicles was the impetus for the creation of the Cybertruck.

After nearly four years since its inception, Musk is still committed to starting deliveries this year, which has kept interest high despite the lack of price information. Those who have put down a small deposit on a pre-ordered Cybertruck can't wait to see the finished product, in all its revolutionary glory, and have been discussing and analyzing the truck's innovative design, with its distinctive stainless steel exterior and expansive windshield wiper, with great fervor and scrutiny.

Tesla's exciting adventure to bring the Cybertruck to reality is illuminated by the revealed internal disagreements and secret design endeavors. It is evidence of Musk's unwavering commitment to his vision and the audacity of his ambition; it maintains hope for a revolutionary change in the car industry by overcoming internal reservations and conventional design standards.
