Hours after Israel pummeled Gaza with bombs, killing more than 400 people and ending the fragile ceasefire, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu promised, "from now on, Israel will fight against Hamas with more and more power," until Gaza "will no longer be a threat."
The fragile ceasefire in Gaza ended on Tuesday as Israel launched “extensive strikes” across the enclave. The operation ended a nearly two month pause in fighting which had allowed some sense of normalcy for Gaza residents after over a year of war.
