The Jan. 29 collision between an American Airlines passenger jet and a U.S. Army Black Hawk helicopter in Washington, D.C. has brought up long-standing aviation safety concerns. A Maryland woman has been charged with first-degree murder after allegedly strangling her 11-year-old daughter and killing four family pets, according to authorities. Keyona Dillon, 34, was arrested after police discovered the body of her daughter, London Olsen, inside their Middle River home on Jan. 23. Officers responding around noon also found a dog, two cats, and a rabbit dead, the Baltimore County Police Department said, as reported by WWNY-TV.
